Bang! Zap!

I managed to get some rare light guns for my arcade project! These guns are brand new, and have a very limited production run. They provide a very authentic "arcade shooter" feel, and are the latest addition to my ongoing home arcade project. Only player 1 works right now, I'm still figuring out a way to get player 2 to work as well. The PC is reading the gun as a mouse, and that's where it gets tricky...Windows XP can read multiple mice, but the emulator (MAME) requires a bit of hacking to get it to work right. At least I think and hope so.

Well everyone, today is the day that we take over our new place..yahhhh!!! I'm sure you can tell that I can't wait cause its a beautiful 3 bedroom in a new building (no old plumbing problems) thats close to all amenities for me to walk to. Also I can FINALLY unpack and use all of our wedding gifts that we got last year..hehe, cant wait. So today we pick up the keys, and bring some of the kitchen stuff over, and on Sunday we have reserved a Uhaul truck to move all the boxes and furniture with of course the nice help of a bunch of Arunas friends and co-workers. :) thanks guys! So wish us luck as this weekend I'm sure will be busy but I can already see the light at the end of the tunnel! ciao :)

A visit to Colorado

It's time for the East-coast U.S. branch of the Inversin clan to try to start posting "stuff" on the net. So let us start with a few photos taken during a recent two-week trip to Colorado to get my feet wet. The first week, we circled the lower left quadrant of the state, staying in the Rockies portion of the state and not descending into the eastern plains (except for a night in Denver). The second week, we hiked in the South San Juan Wilderness with the Sierra Club.
