well, since we only made it into the 'stan-by" section last week, we were gauranteed seats the next week on the show..so we took them up on the offer , and went back the next tuesday October 2nd.....and had a fun time!! They get you to do tons of dancing before the show and during all commercials, plus very loud music was going ALL the time :)

the guests for that day were Jamie Foxx, 6 year old piano protege "Emily Bean" , and a group of breast cancer survivors from the company "General Mills" make a large donation to Ellens breats cancer foundation

Jean and I once again had an awesome day!!!

well, my friend Jean and I headed out to the NBC studio in Burbank on September 25th to try and get into the show. Jean already had a phone call the day before telling us that we were definetly on the waiting list for tickets and that to come by anyway and see if we can still get in... Well, our number was 212 and 213 and the studio only seats around 180 or so......due to that, we only made it to the 'rif-raf" room, where all the stand by people sit. We werent able to see the show taped "live" but since the rif-raf room is right beside where they tape the show, we heard it through the microphones and watched it on the TV sets ....Right before they started taping the program, Ellen stopped by to say "hi" to all of us in the rif-raf room and walked around and danced with all of us for about 3 minutes or so...fun stuff!!! guests that day included Kat Von "D" from LA ink and Greg Kinnear!

just wishing all my family and friends up north a wonderful "Happy Thanksgiving" !!!
