The latest game I've been working on is called Baja for PS3 and Xbox 360, due out this fall. Based on the Baja 1000, an endurance race that takes place along the Baja peninsula in Mexico, it includes over 150 vehicles and 95 tracks spread out over 9 environments. It's been a long and fun process, and here I talk about some of the work I did.

Yay! Another new toy! Well, it's more like it's a used toy.. And more like a used vehicle. I picked up my first motorcycle today, about three hours ago at the Suzuki dealership. It's a 1999 Suzuki GS500E with 8200 miles. I finished the MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) course about a month ago, and have just been looking around for the right bike at the right price. This is going to replace my MINI as my commuter vehicle. The Cooper S will be relegated to shopping trips and vacation trips with Lisa. I'm pretty happy with the bike so far. It's yellow (like my MINI) and it has similar acceleration, so I'm not getting in over my head with the crazy crotch rocket pack. Two friends that I took the MSF course with got bigger, more expensive bikes. One a Harley Davidson 1200S Sportster, and the other a Ducati Monster. Ya. Not for me. I'd feel terrible if I were to drop either of those.

In the tradition of having nothing else to write about, I've added some more pics of my newest MAME addition! This time I put in a steering wheel and some pedals, so I can play the latest PC racing games. The wheel and pedals both fold and slide neatly into the original cabinet all transformer-like. It's really done this time, I swear...

Ok. This is getting out of hand. Over the weekend and last night I started playing Sudoku on a site that Dad sent me. Web Sudoku is too addictive. I've got the easy puzzles down, around six minutes (rank: top 37%). I'm getting better at medium, getting around ten minutes (rank: top 50%). I haven't tried hard or evil yet, but that's just, evil. Talk about an efficient time waster.
